On a perfect day at The King and Prince Resort at St Simons Island, Georgia, Rev Joy Blessing officiated the joyfully sensational ceremony for Nicole Martinez and Shea Drury. The couple invited their closest friends to their destination wedding held with a backdrop of crashing waves on the Ocean Lawn at this historic venue. Rev Joy Blessing worked closely with Anne Urban of Destination Planning Corporation, as well as her assistant, Ashley Bultman to ensure that all the desires of the Bride and Groom were fulfilled. The theme of the wedding was “White and Bright Blue Tropical.” The venue contact for King and Prince Resort, Hannah Garner, prepared all areas of the resort for a private and beautiful wedding celebration. Rev Joy Blessing led the wedding processional accompanied by violinist, Michael Housten. Groom Shea made a grand entrance, followed by his childhood friends who were all his “best” groomsmen. The mermaid style custom wedding dress worn by beautiful Bride Nicole caused her to look like an “angel” as her father walked her down the aisle to meet her beloved husband-to-be under a canopy of blue orchids and white hydrangeas covering a bamboo canopy with sheer white panels. Thinh Lee Photography, and videographer, Mike, from Real Insight Productions, provided full day coverage for this phenomenal celebration. Catering for the reception included a specialty menu prepared by the King and Prince Resort. The flower covered wedding cake was created by Ranae Peeples, Nae Nae’s Cake Creations.
